The management team has extensive experience and a proven history in fund, asset and property management in Singapore and the region. A number of the management are real estate specialists with strong credentials and investment experience.

CHRIS CALVERT
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Chris Calvert joined the Manager as the Chief Executive Officer in December 2008. The CEO of the Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management and operation of CIT. He works with the Board members to determine the overall business, investment and operational strategies for CIT. He has over 17 years of property and management experience in valuation, consultancy, real estate funds management, and investment management in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining the Manager, Mr Calvert was appointed CEO (Asia) responsible for the assembly of an industrial property portfolio and the subsequent IPO of the MacarthurCook Industrial REIT in early 2007. Most recently, he was CEO (Asia) of Blaxland Funds Management, a real estate funds Manager.
Mr Calvert holds a Bachelor of Business and Property and is a Qualified Valuer from the Australian Property Institute. He is also an active advocate of the Asian Public Real Estate Association.
DAVID MASON
Chief Financial Officer
Mr David Mason joined the Manager in July 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. The CFO reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the financial performance and for ensuring key performance indicators are achieved for the effective management of CIT. In addition, the CFO is responsible for the preparation of regular performance reports for investors and regulators.
Prior to joining the Manager, Mr Mason was a Financial Consultant to YTL Starhill Global REIT Management Limited, advising various projects and other financial matters of Starhill Global REIT.
He was also the Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting of Starhill Global REIT (formerly known as Macquarie Prime REIT) and has over 10 years experience in the REIT sector in Singapore and Australia.
Mr Mason holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from Birmingham City University and is a Chartered Accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
YVONNE ONG
Head of Real Estate
Ms Yvonne Ong joined the Manager in November 2005 and is currently the Head of Real Estate. The Head of Real Estate reports to the CEO and formulates strategic plans to maximise the returns of the Trust assets. She has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining the Manager, she was a Manager in the Properties and Administration Division of Singapore Power Ltd from 2004 to 2005, where she was responsible for office space renovation, property and project management.
Ms Ong is a CFA charter holder, holds a Master of Science in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University and was awarded the 2009 Saw Swee Hock Gold Medal (Best Student Award). She received a Bachelor of Science (Estate Management) (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore. She also has an Appraiser's Licence (Lands and Buildings) since 1996 and has been a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers since 1997.
SHALDINE WANG
Head of Investment
Ms Shaldine Wang joined the Manager as the Head of Investment in October 2007. The Head of Investment reports to the CEO and is responsible for developing investment strategies for acquisitions and divestments of CIT. She has over 12 years of experience in Investment and Corporate Finance, including investments and development projects.
Prior to joining the Manager, Ms Wang was a Manager at Pacific Oil & Gas Pte Ltd, the Oil & Gas business unit of Raja Garuda Mas Group, where she was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, investment analysis, and project financing for the company.
Ms Wang received a Bachelor of Science (Biological Science) from the University of Guelph, Canada in 1994 and a Master of Arts (International Financial Analysis) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 1995.
LEE SEANG LOOI
Head of Property Management
Ms Lee Seang Looi is the Head of Property Management at CIPM, the related entity retained by the Manager for CIT property management functions in accordance with the Trust Deed. She assumed the role after her two-and-a-half year appointment as a Senior Asset Manager. The Head of Property Management reports, by way of service agreement arrangements, to the CEO and is responsible for recommending suitable property income optimising strategies that are consistent with the Manager’s investment objectives.
Prior to joining CITM in August 2006, she was with JTC Corporation for five years liaising with customers, corporations and government agencies while providing real estate / space solutions to customers. She was also involved in business process analysis and formulating customer retention initiatives.
Ms Lee received two Masters Degrees from University of Warwick with specialisation in Organisation Studies and Training and Human Resource Development in 1997 and 1996 respectively. She also has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto obtained in 1995.
